Welcome to The Contemporary Choir Warwick/Leamington Spa!

Our Warwick choir was the second addition to The Contemporary Choir family and has grown into a wonderful, supportive choir that hold a special place in a lot of hearts. We can’t wait for Wednesdays when we’re able to sing with these wonderful people each week. Although we work hard in our rehearsals learning and polishing our songs, we absolutely love every moment, and there is an undeniably energising atmosphere that leaves us smiling all week long.

Here at The Contemporary Choir Leamington, we write bespoke musical arrangements of all of our material, and our eclectic blend of Rock, Pop, Musical Theatre & Disney is exciting, dramatic and moving - both as the vocalist and a listener. There are four main vocal sections within our choir - sopranos and altos for our girls (sops are sometimes split depending on the song) and tenors and bass for the gentlemen. Whether you are a confident and experienced singer or have never sung out of the house before, our Warwick Choir is the perfect place for you and your voice. The strength of our vocal sections will support you, and you can develop your confidence at your own pace without feeling too exposed - you will never be asked to sing alone unless you would like to at one of our concerts. We always perform a full vocal warm-up before we get stuck in, and provide technical advice on everything from diaphragmatic breathing and diction, to resonance, passagio and dynamics. You will absolutely feel and hear your technique and musical understanding growing in strength, no matter your current ability - and we will support you every step of the way.
