If you love to sing and want to be part of a warm, welcoming community – The Contemporary Choir Warwickshire is the place for you! Singing custom written arrangements of the world’s greatest Pop, Rock, Musical Theatre and Disney hits, this fabulously fun environment will develop your skills and confidence, leaving you glowing (and singing to yourself) the whole week through!
Our Warwickshire Choir is a rather special place. More like a musical family than simply friends - the laughter is vibrant and often, the endorphins are aplenty and the atmosphere is thoroughly inviting. You will be able to choose a rehearsal to attend that suits you, at either the Stratford or Warwick/Leamington sites - and will simply join in with the rehearsal, complete with the full support of a sea of voices, and a genuinely warm greeting.

The Contemporary Choir’s setlist is comprised of some of the world’s finest Pop, Rock, Musical Theatre and Disney songs. From the likes of Coldplay, Queen and Elton Jphn, all the way through to The Lion King, Frozen and Grease – there is something for everyone to adore. All of our incredible arrangements are custom written and arranged specifically for The Contemporary Choir by our Musical Director Paul Asbridge, and every song is certain to leave you with goosebumps and a huge smile when you sing it!
YOUR CHOIR LEADERs
This non-traditional choir is led by husband and wife team Paul and Melissa Asbridge. Both professional touring musicians who own and run the international Jam Hot Showband. Spending their time touring the globe performing the world’s greatest rock and pop songs for celebrity events/weddings, product launches and corporate parties, Melissa and Paul are just the people to help you develop the vocal skills to confidently sing all of your favourite songs, complete with harmonies and bags of sass!
PERFORM WITH a LIVE BAND
As Melissa and Paul tour with some of the UK’s finest musicians, The Contemporary Choir Warwickshire are given opportunities to perform alongside a live band at some of our performances. Singing with live musicians is such a fantastic, uplifting experience, and adds a whole new dynamic to the already exciting material we will be working on in our rehearsals! Singing alongside friends is simply good for the soul, endorphins are released, stress is melted away, and it leaves you feeling thoroughly revitalised. As we sing our uplifting and exhilarating arrangements, the goose bumps are real, along with the smiles! With opportunities to perform and record throughout the year in the local community, this outstanding rock and pop choir will encourage you to reach your full potential, and reach vocal heights you never dreamed of. That being said, if the thought of performing is too much for you, you’re under no pressure, and just attending our rehearsals is absolutely fine!

The Stratford Upon Avon branch of The Contemporary Choir meets at The Croft Prep School (CV37 7RL), within easy reach of Stratford town centre, on Tuesday evenings between 7.30-9.00pm.
WARWICK/LEAMINGTON SPA CONTEMPORARY CHOIR
Wednesday evening
The Warwick & Leamington Spa branch of The Contemporary Choir meet at King’s High School (CV34 6YE) within easy reach of both Warwick & Leamington Spa, on Wednesday evening from 7:30-9pm.
